Dave House composed a synthwave / electronic soundtrack for dancer Rob Anderson‘s first full-length solo piece.
Working at Dance City in Newcastle, Dave developed a half-hour soundtrack for Rob’s work-in-progress performance. Buckle Up follows the story of a young man and his car, from their first drive all the way to old age and the scrapyard, with a lifetime of experiences in between.
The piece is a personal take on masculinity and and the synth-driven music reflects themes of innocence, passion, pressure, failure and growing up.
